Chiropractic

Chiropractic care—also known as spinal manipulation—offers a proven method for alleviating musculoskeletal pain. It’s recognized as an effective option for acute and chronic low back pain, neck pain, and headaches. One trial noted chiropractic was as effective as standard physical therapy for low back pain. Both the American Chiropractic Association and Harvard Health endorse spinal adjustments as a non-drug approach with notable benefits.

Nutritional Counseling

Research shows personalized nutritional counseling improves dietary habits, nutritional knowledge, and health outcomes. It can strengthen chronic disease management, energy levels, mood, and recovery—especially in athletes. Studies in malnutrition also highlight reduced hospital readmissions and improved survival rates.

Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy, or photo biomodulation, uses targeted wavelengths to reduce inflammation and accelerate healing without heat exposure. It has shown moderate effectiveness in reducing back pain and aiding recovery from injuries and burns. Aetna and Erchonia also note it helps with pain, nerve recovery, and tissue healing.

Cupping Therapy

Both dry and wet cupping show promise in managing pain conditions such as chronic neck/back pain, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, and headaches. Multiple systematic reviews report moderate-quality evidence supporting its role in musculoskeletal pain management.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

IASTM uses beveled tools to mobilize fascia, relieve restrictions, and improve movement. Recent trials indicate moderate-certainty evidence that IASTM reduces pain and enhances range-of-motion in musculoskeletal issues. Consensus guidelines support its safe, effective application.

Trigger Point Therapy

Manual therapy that targets hyperirritable tension spots within muscle is a validated approach for reducing pain—particularly for headaches—and improving pressure sensitivity. Research confirms it can match or outperform other conservative treatments.

Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST)

FST focuses on stretching connective tissue to restore motion, alignment, circulation, and core strength. Early evidence shows improved flexibility, range-of-motion, reduced fatigue, better muscle performance, and relaxation.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Screening

The TPI Screen assesses golfers’ flexibility, strength, balance, and posture to pinpoint physical limitations affecting swing performance. It enables personalized corrective training to optimize swing mechanics, reduce injury risk, and enhance consistency
